Sažetak
When welding steels with higher carbon content the hardness in the welded joint area increases. The increase of hardness does not necessarily have a negative influence on the mechanical properties of the welded joint. The influence of the welding process on the dynamic strength of the welded joints has been studied. For butt welding of 2 mm thick heat-treatable steel sheets 25CrMo4 and 42CrMo4, the TIG process and Nd:YAG laser were used.
