Sažetak
This article presents a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that supports ad hoc service negotiations between users and service providers (SPs) in fourth-generation (4G) mobile networks. This generation of mobile networks is characterized by a heterogeneous wireless infrastructure of 2.5/3G wide-area access interspersed with Wireless LAN (WLAN) access (so-called hotspots) and other methods for wireless access that may become available. It is proposed that QoS-driven service negotiations in 4G mobile networks are performed by multi-agent system (MAS) for Quality of Service (QoS) management. Such a multi-agent system is an environment composed of Intelligent Agents (IAs) that ensure guaranteed QoS offered by multi-service communication networks according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) among users and service providers.
