Sažetak
The aim of the paper was the contrastive analysis of the emotional profile of the patients with persisting headache after head contusion in relation to patients with proven tension headache. The applied Plutchik's Emotions Profile Index comprises eight dimensions of emotions (reproduction, incorporation, uncontrollability, self-protection, deprivation, opposition, exproration, aggression). Total number of 37 patients were analyzed, 17 (7 male and 10 female patients) suffering from tension headache and 20 (15 male and 5 female) suffering from headache which resulted from head contusion. The mean age of the patients with tension headache which resulted from head contusion was 39.55+/-12.2 years. Patients from the both groups were approximately same educational background. Application of t-test in the contrastive analysis did not reveal any statistically significant difference between two groups of patients for none of the profile dimensions examined. The result shows concidence of the emotional profile of the patients suffering from the two headache type.
