Sažetak
In this paper we discuss current state of teachers' use of technology and its implications for curriculum reform and teacher education programs. The data used in this study is part of a large-scale national survey of primary and middle school teachers in Croatia. The national-survey was conducted in Spring 2003, with the goal to determine teachers' opinions on the current school curriculum and perceived needs for curriculum changes. This study focuses on the teachers' use of technology (e.g., personal computers, Internet and e-mail) and different types of instructional approaches (e.g., student-centred approaches, and teacher-centred approaches), as a determinant of teachers' readiness for use of educational technology.
