Sažetak
This paper presents an algorithm for selective counting of the number of third-order intermodulation products in CATV systems where many channels are transmitted through the system with nonlinear transfer characteristic. Compared to direct counting of Composite Triple Beat (CTB) products, the presented formulas show significant reduction in computational effort, specially if the number of products is large. The formulas for the calculation of the number of CTB products per channel are valid for all systems with equal channel spacing.
