Sažetak
Public urban transit system is of special significance in the traffic and economic system of big cities. Continuous lagging behind of the public transit system development compared to the city development can be noticed as a consequence of the traffic policy and the fascination by the passenger cars. Planned orientation of the urban traffic systems is of a recent date. This paper tends to give incentive to the need for a more complex urban planning and planning of traffic in a unique mulddis-ciplinary process within the urban planning system.
