Sažetak
The crystal and molecular structure of potassium (1) and ammonium hexafluorophosphate complex (2) with dibenzo-24-crown-8 has been described. In the complex (1) the potassium cation is completely encapsulated by the crown molecule coordinated to all eight oxygen atoms and also to one fluorine atom of the anion. The different conformation of the crown in (2) is a result of the coordination of ammonium cation through the hydrogen bonding only with four oxygen atoms of the polyether.
