Sažetak
We present a general introduction to Open String Field Theory and then concentrate on Vacuum String Field Theory. Our main concern is the operator approach to this theory. We review in particular the solutions of the equation of motion of VSFT representing D-branes. Using an unconventional lump we generate a rolling tachyon-like (time-localized) solution.
