Sažetak
Wireless clients are rarely connected to external power source. With this fact in mind, in addition of constantly aware operation mode, IEEE 802.11 standard allows wireless clients to work in power save mode in order to prolonge batery life. Clients in power save mode periodicaly wakes-up to get stored data for them from traffic indication element that is sent in Beacon. In this paper we will show how wrong implementation tound during test of access point widely used on the market can increase network overhead and propose correct method of implementation.
