Sažetak
Production of water-based printing inks brings some new problems regarding specially wastewater treatment due to highly coloured and loaded printing ink wastewaters. The flocculation process with certain cationic flocculants, studied for the removal of colloidal and suspended substances, was shown as very efficient treatment, from economic and technical point of view. The removal of the substantial part of the organic contents, reduction of the loading of ecological parameters and colour and turbidity removal, completely, suggested that treated water should be re-used in printing ink industry.
