Sažetak
The topic of this paper refers to the Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) as the European Organization for civil aviation which represents regulatory authorities of different states. It describes the procedure of the adoption of the JAA rules and regulations. The work also presents the gradual procedure and terms of Croatia joining the JAA as full member. Special emphasis is placed on the regulations that concern education and training. A commentary is given on the current model as well as the regulations acceptance and their implementation, and suggestions are given regarding its improvvement.
