Sažetak
In our study we simulate two different seasons: winter 1993/1994 (December - February) and summer 1997 (June - August). European domain of 2500 km x 3000 km is centred at 45N, 16E with horizontal grid-point spacing of 50 km. ECMWF reanalysis dataset has been used for initial and boundary conditions forcing the model with two spatial resolutions (T42 and T159) and boundary frequencies of 6 and 12 hours. The model outputs for various fields have been compared. Verification of the results has been performed by ERA-40 dataset. These model runs have been used for analysis of extreme rainy events during both seasons.
