Sažetak
Croatian language and its dialects contain a great deal of germanisms - many of them are phraseological expressions. Most of them are typical for a region, but some are part of the Croatina colloquial language. Their number was since the beginning of the contacts with the german language greater in nord Croatia than in the south, where the influence of Italian is more important. The tendency of vanishing of germanisms in the language of the city of Zadar in Dalmatia was tested and compared with the results of the same tests for another city in Dalmatia (Split) and two cities in Nord Croatia (Varaždin and Zagreb).
