Sažetak
We mainly consume conventionally produced food, which is not usually covered with control of its health safety. Today’ s trend is larger food production based on biodynamic and organic technology, which is usually on high level of the health safety. The world records the growth and consumption of the products based on modern biotechnology like GMO, novel food, and new kind of additives. These foods have insufficiently researched levels of risks for human’ s health as well as of wide range of the legislation and politics in different countries. All these technologies rarely involve expensive procedures of checking of present known hazards in food production. It is an imperative to clearly define modern system of control in food production, health safety which should be further integrate in the system of quality control (ISO, HACCAP). This would bring to efficient reduction of risks for human healths. Democratic societies intent to make as obligation to all interested sides to respect certain principles like: - Risk analysis and health safety (high standard of public health production), - Transparency and consumer information, - Scientific advice, - Primary responsibility on food producers - Traceability and comprehensive integrated approach (from farm to table) Respecting these principles enables possibility for production of safe-for- health food to be kept on high level.
