Sažetak
The paper discusses the basic technological traits of Next Generation Telecommunication Network (NGN) and possible scenarion for effective NGN deployment in Central and South-eastern European countries. Market liberalization and deployment of NGN in concrete environment require transformation of classical telecommunications paradigm. In that environment ITS applications can be developed and connected to NGN over defined interfaces. The paper discusses the basic features of NGN in relation with effective ITS application deployment.
