Sažetak
Under conditions of existing transition social processes in Croatia, which are in the field of architecture and urban planning characterized by the sharp antagonism between private and common interests, the historical urban core of the city of Split is exposed to the inadequate forms of the re-defining the urban matrix and the picture of the town. The recent efforts to overcome this situation have been hindered by numerous problems.
