Sažetak
Existing analog wireless video communications systems (NTSC, PAL ; SECAM) are very sensitive to interference from other analog video signals, and required high co-channel protection ratios. Adjacent channels cannot generally be used from the same transmitting location. Broadcast digital systems are significantly less sensitive to noise and interference. Digital COFDM modulation, multicarrier techniques and channel coding systems ensure frequency spectrum efficiency and ruggedness against noise and distortion.
