Sažetak
The aim is to consider some theoretical conceptual dilemmas in teacher education in Croatia ; a brief review of development of teacher education is given. The characteristics of the present model of teacher education are particularly problematized. Thereupon, certain theoretical and conceptual problems of teacher education in Croatia are examined.
