Sažetak
Siscia was very importaint settlement from prehistory (Iron Age) up to the Roman times. Layer of 5th and 6th century is well preserved and confirmed by activities of imperial mint and the existence of the diocese. The creation of town itself was initiated by the presence of military base and geographic features.
