Sažetak
Almost all materials which are used in aphasia therapy as well as Tests for Differential Diagnostic of Aphasia includes black and white drawings of objects for naming ability examination, although the objects around us besides all other features are characterized by colour too. The research presents the examination of naming ability in people with aphasia through black and white, coloured drawings application and real objects. The aim of this research was to determinate whether there is an influence of colour in processes of recalling which take place during the naming in aphasia patients. Examination material consisted of ten real objects which are used in everyday life and of their photos in coloured and black and white version. The objects were selected according to the frequency of appearance and usage in everyday life as well as the logical connection between the objects and certain colour. At the beginning every examinee possibility of visual colour recognition was established. To confirm an assumption that a deficit is based only on visual input or on naming difficulties in the most strain sense, and that is not result of general semantic ignorance, the examinees were requested to define the objects. All examinees named more correctly real objects and exercises in colour. Errors which appeared were present with most examinees regardless of the localisation of damage and the type of aphasia. This research has confirmed the fact that the colour is an important component, and is also often a key semantic differential factor that contributes to the easier recognition of objects. In a therapy of aphasia semantic difficulties are often a problem, but role of colour in therapy and diagnostic process is rarely mentioned in the speech language researches.
