Sažetak
The results of the research conducted by the World Bank indicate an indicate an increase in the income inequality in transition countries. However, there are considerable differences in the increase of inequality in individual counties. This research analyses the income inequality in the Republic of Croatia and the selected CEE countries. Main causes of the increase of economic inequality in individual countries are investigated. In addition, main causes of deviation in the economic inequality in Croatia compared to the selected CEE countries are identified trough comparative analysis.
