Sažetak
Twenty corn (Zea mays L.) hybrids were grown under field conditions on hydromorphic soil in four replicates during 2000 and 2001 growing seasons. This soil has acid reaction and moderate supplied with available phosphorus (P). The ear-leaf samples were taken at beginning of silking stage. P in dry matter of corn leaves were determined by ICP-AES. Differences of grain yields among the hybrids were from 4.06 to 11.69 t ha-1 (2-y means). Mean ear-leaf P status was 0.320 and 0.302% P, for 2000 and 2001, respectively, while differences among the hybrids were from 0.27% P to 0.46% P (2-y means). By comparison data between two growing seasons, high correlations were found for yields (0.587**) and P status (0.816**) and they are indication of high degrees of inheritance influences. Relationships between yields and P status were as follows: -0.529* (2000), -0.739** (2001) and -0.827** (2-year means).
