Sažetak
A great deal of tourism policies in many contries worldwide is developed through the national tourism organisation. based on these experiences in 1994. Croatia has introduced the law of Tourism Associations of countries, towns, communitys and districts. The authors of this study analise in this study the organisational system, role and importance of the main tourism association olus tourism associations on different levels, in their development course, progress and promotion of the countrys tourism offer as a whole and smailler or greater destinations. It has been concluded that any function, operation or task of tourism associations may not be successful whithout a formed management support system on all levels.
