Sažetak
We performed backfluorescence measurements induced by Ti:Sa femtosecond laser oscillator in dense rubidium and cesium vapours, generated in all sapphire cells. In both cases the temperatures and densities were so high that no laser light could be transmitted through the cells. The sepctra were taken by OceanOptics spectrometer S2000. The main goal was to inspect the appearance of some new structured molecular continua. Beside well-known diffuse bands and extended resonance line wings with corresponding satellite bands only very few new phenomena appeared. In the near infrared spectral region we definitely found broad structured continua, which may be attributed to avoided crossings of a certain number of interacting potential curves. In the case of Cs-Cs interaction, the structured continua may be correlated to giant resonances in the multiphoton ionization spectrum of ultracold cesium molecules. Those molecules were created in the lowest triplet states by spontaneous emission after the tunneling process through the potential barrier in Og- state.
