Sažetak
Combined chelation therapy of rac-DMSA or meso-DMSA and EDTA was studied to mobilize lead in rats. Best results in reducing tissue Pb were obtained by combined treatment with rac-DMSA. Since it caused highest trace element elimination, more data are needed before recommending rac-DMSA for use in combined treatment of lead poisoning.
