Sažetak
The first three vertex- and edge-cOlUlectivityindices of Platonic and Archimedean molecules are given. Since these molecules can be modeled by Platonic and Archimedean molecules (hence their names) which in turn can be converted into d-regular planar graphs, the cOlmectivityindices are given in the closed fonns. The vertex-cOlUlectivity indices are expressed in tenns of the number of their vertices (V) while the edge-connectivity indices are expressed also in tenus of the V-numbersand, when needed, in tenus of the vertex-degrees and the number of threemembered cycles. Since the V-numbersand the E-numbers (E-number = the number of edges) as well as the vertexdegrees and the edge-degrees in d-regular graphs are closely related quantities, both the vertex-connectivity indices and the edge-connectivity indices are also expressible in tenus of the E-numbers and edge-degrees. The vertexcOlUlectivityindices and the edge-connectivity indices serve as simple topological descriptors of Platonic and Archimedean molecules.
