Sažetak
We present new time resolved spectral measurements with pulsed high-pressure cesium and sodium discharge lamps, which are sources of white or nearly white light. The use of simple OceanOptics digital spectrometers the spectra from 200 to 1100 nm have been obtained in several different experimental conditions. The time evolution of spectra of cesium and sodium discharge lamps will be shown from the ignition to the full power of the light intensity. In addition, spectra at different times within a single pulse will be presented, in order to better distinguish atomic from molecular features. The goal of a present research is to analyze spectra within 200-1100 nm spectral region, in order to find better composition of alkali elements for the further development of pulsed high-pressure alkali discharge plasmas. In addition, we shall present new infrared spectra within 1000-2000 nm spectral range, where numerous atomic and molecular phenomena can be now explained using recent ab initio calculations of both atomic structure and molecular potential curves.
