Sažetak
The primary demand which must satisfy the material for mineral liner is its coefficient of permeability which should be less than 10-7 cm/s. Aside from widely used clay, as alternative materials for mineral liner, two types of materials were investigated: flysch and waste stone dust. The materials were compacted in laboratory and their coefficients of permeability were tested in a triaxial and a hydraulic oedometer cell. Instead of standardly used method for measuring the coefficient of permeability: constant or variable - head, flow-pump test, which was found more suitable method for low permeable materials, was applied. Flysch is recognized as almost suitable material, but waste stone dust is a little bit too much permeable and may be used only for landfills with pretreated waste.
