Sažetak
Human head and neck biomechanical charateritics, as the for example moments of inertia, are very important in the description in the human motion of this body part. In our previous works we showed the method of the calculation of the mass moments of inertia as a part of fundamental dynamic anthropomeasures when describing the head and neck motion, using the new model for calculating of dynamical moments of inertia of the head and neck for males and females, about the choosen principal axes of inertia. In this models the origin of the coordinate system were in the tenth rib midspine and second cervical, then horizontal axis passing supersternal seam. The results we made there were non linear in the range of statistical distribution from 5 to 95 percentiles.
These results are given in presented tables, which are comparable with the results of other authors. Analysis of the results we found out that, the statistical distribution in the range from 50 to 96% give us linear approximation with the great accuracy. The analysis carried out revealed significant differences of values obtained in literature, because they were there calculated as the collective values for males and females.
