Sažetak
Monitoring the earliest stages of spermatogenesis requires the purified spermatogonia in sufficient amounts. Techniques based on the size and shape of the cells were not satisfactory for purifications of spermatogonia. Two families of transgenes were generated in which the Stra8 promoter drived the expression of reporter gene or neutral surface marker. These cells were isolated by magnetic coupled antibodies and analysed for their characteristics as stem cells and spermatogonia.
