Sažetak
The compound Rb_3[NbO(C_2O_4)_3]· 2H_2O (1) has been synthesized by two different methods and its exact chemical composition established. The niobium atom is heptacoordinated by oxygen atoms forming a distorted pentagonal bipyramid. In spite of some similarities, the structure of (1) is not isotypic with the structure of (NH_4)_3[NbO(C_2O_4)_3]· H_2O [1].
