Analysis of plasma polymerized spheroidal (coliflower) dust particles in sub &micro ; m region reveals striking similarities with feature observed by astronomers. Importance of laboratory work for identification of diffuse interstellar media solid material. Similarites with the dust in outflow of carbon rich giants.
