Sažetak
Hydrocephalus shunt operations are one of the most difficult neurourgery operations because of many comlications and reoperations. The reason is foreign body implatation and the age of the patients (mostly children with imunodepresion) and consecutive infective complications. 1. VP complications: a. mechanic, b. infective. 2. Sinus shunt complications 3. ETV complications New techique introduction as well as new operation protocols , new shunt matherials and new antibiothics generations are the reason that the number of complications are decreased in nowadays.
