Sažetak
Correlation between tissue share in the sides and parts of the sides has a significant importance for breeding-selection work. Generally, in order to determine accurate selection strategy, more knowledge on mutual relations of slaughtering quality indicators at different pig genotypes with correlation of some quality indicators in pork sides originated from two most representative genotypes. Large White and Swedish Landrace in the Republic of Croatia. Correlation between quality indicators of pork sides was determined by calculation of correlation coefficients (r) and manifold regression. Correlation of the main parts share in Large White and Swedish Landrace sides was mostly low and insignificant. On other hand, positive and statistically significant correlation of different intensity was determined between muscle tissue share of the main side parts. Muscle tissue shares of all sides main parts are in middle high to very high and statistically significant correlation with muscle tissue share in the sides of analyzed genotypes. ham muscle tissue share (r=0, 90***) is in the highest correlation with muscle tissue share in Large White sides. With Swedish Landrace it is back tissue share (r=0, 87**).
