Sažetak
For the estimation of physical and thermodynamic pro-per-ti-es of humid air in the whole nonsaturated region and for the chosen temperature interval it is necessary to know the saturated pressure $p_e$ of water vapour, specific heat $c_{;p, da};$ of dry air and specific heat $c_{;p, wv};$ of water vapour at constant pressure in dependence of temperature $vartheta$. Since these dependencies are not known explicitly, on the basis of experimental data they can be interpolated or approximated by various functions. In this paper we suggest a method for approximating the unknown functions $p_e, c_{;p, da};$ and $c_{;p, wv};$. Our approach is based on smoothing the data by using the moving total least squares method. In this way it is taken into consideration that errors can occur in all data coordinates. The method is illustrated on several examples.
