Sažetak
In this article finite element approach of flexible multibody dynamic systems is presented. Equation of constrained motion for flexible mechanics element undergoing large displacements/rotation but small elastic strains, using description in terms of finite elements coordinates, are derived. Newmark integration scheme is adopted in solution procedure. Numerical solutions of constrained equations using Lagrange multiplier, penalty function method and augmented Lagrangian method are examined on slider crank mechanism.
