Sažetak
Transformation of HEP (Croatian electricity company) in a joint stock company presupposes stock offering at the capital market. Certainly, this represents a significant moment both for HEP and the country in the whole, for privatization changes the structure of the entire sector, after many years being state's property and therefore preferred enjoying monopoly benefits. Electric power market introduced by the new privatized organizational structure, better known as the Pool, represents a form of a wholesale electric energy market. The market is organized in such a way to make possible highest levels of efficiency as a consequence of competitive relations and use of those implicit advantages that come from planning and central coordination. This survey is directed to development of methodologies for profit acquirement and investment return, as well as forecast of operations and procedures performed by other market participants.
