Sažetak
High contact ratio gears (HCR) have increased load-carrying capacity compared to low contact ratio gears, but they are very sensitive to manufacturing errors. The expressions for load sharing on mating teeth with pitch errors are determined for involute spur gears. Load sharing significantly changes for these gears when the value of pitch error is increasing or decreasing, which means choosing coarser or finer quality grade. When analysis of load sharing on gears with pitch errors has been performed, the influence of loading has also been identified. In this paper the examples of both influences on load sharing are presented. The application of the presented expressions can improve the calculation of tooth root and contact stresses on gear teeth.
