Sažetak
In the framework of the ongoing research project « ; Investigation of elastic and mechanical properties of timber and timber-concrete composite structures» ; at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Osijek properties of timber-concrete composite structures are studied. The study focuses on timber-concrete composite structures joined by serially produced special type dowels. One-side dowels of Type C (according to DIN 1052 T2 Dowel Type C) have been selected. The research includes investigation of an actual-size specimen under ultimate static loading. Girder deformability caused by programmed loading is evident in the midspan deflection and slipping in the fastener area. In this paper the results of experimental research into bearing capacity and deformability of a specimen subjected to static tests of ultimate loading are presented.
