Sažetak
This paper deals with e-government and e-governance information access opportunities and their possible usage for space control purposes. It is based, on the one hand on the fundamental significance of space control for every government administration (GA) and on the « ; state» ; of e-government and e-governance open access opportunities today, on the other. It is explained why the agencies of GA have discovered GIS as a synergic effect tool to multiply the efficiencies of their services many times over. Space control will bi discussed as a basis of economic development, planning, zoning, environmental protection, law regulations and property assessment. E-government is shown on its march towards open data accessibility by using space web sites. In addition to e-government (which focuses primarily on information and transaction/type services), e-governance will be discussed as well. E-governance, which focuses on the citizens, is using interactive web sites, to allow the citizens to express their opinions, comments or requests regarding space data. The hexahedron presentation (HP) of the GA GIS sites position and its multiple usages (valence) is shown. It can function as a visualization of the present situation and a part of the planning methodology during the strategic, tactical and operational phase. It is underlined that, to protect the servers, the COBIT audit standards were built into all IT profiles and job class specifications.
