Sažetak
There are many activities to be undertaken in the Croatian electricity company in order to establish open market system in the electricity sector. As it is almost half of the total investment in the distribution network and related equipment, which is responsible of about 70% of outages and 80% of power losses, it is necessary to accomplish further activities: establish standards for quality of supply, define regulatory body to monitor the implementation of those standards, introduction of technical information systems for supervising and controlling of distribution network (TIS, GIS, SCADA), as well as the system of monitoring economic indicators in distribution sector. Authors are proposing further guidelines for implementation of mentioned objectives.
