Sažetak
The research carried out in 2003 showed that wine and bike roads in Istria have an increasing importance for Istria's tourism. This kind of selective tourist offer is an important motive for the decision to come to Istria among an ever larger number of tourists. It is the way in which it significantly contributes to the economic and social development of the central, rural parts of Istria, and prolongs the tourist season. The paper presents the results of the research carried out among tourists who, in 2003, stayed in Istria. Their opinions of Istria's agritourist supply, gastrotourism in the region and ideas of what could be done to improve the bike and wine roads offer were examined.
