Sažetak
This paper describes the program PicDeg developed for degrading color face images from the XM2VTS database. It is a Windows application in which nine image degradation techniques are implemented. The program was used to produce different versions of the degraded XM2VTS face image database. Each degraded database contains images from frontal image sets CDS001 and CDS006. Applicability of the degraded XM2VTS face image database is demonstrated in investigating robustness of two face localization methods.
