Sažetak
Furniture for classrooms, offices and laboratories pertains to the group of working furniture, of which the most commonly used construction types are furniture to sit on and desks adjusted to ergonomics and anthropometry of users. This work discusses the possibility of adopting the European standards in planning and designing school and office furniture from the system of working furniture to sit on - user - desk with the accompanying working equipment. The importance of designing and engineering academic and office furniture compliant with the European standards is demonstrated by the examples of the furniture to sit on and desks.
