Sažetak
The aim of this book is to introduce the reader to the study of modern concepts and methods of applied linear and nonlinear functional analysis. It grew out of a course held by D. Žubrinić at the Faculty of Sciences in Zagreb, and represents a considerable extension of the course, with numerous points described in detail. It is intended mainly for beginning graduate students of mathematics and physics specializing in partial differential equations, and also to engineers who need a deeper understanding of modern methods of applied functional analysis.
