Sažetak
In this paper we clasify finite 2-groups G which possess a self-centralizing elementary abelian subgroup E of order 8. If E is normal in G, then G/E is isomorphic to a subgroup of GL(3, 2) and therefore G/E is isomorphic to a subgroup of dihedral group D8 of order 8. We determine here the unique 2-group G such that E=Fi(G). There are exactly five 2-groups G, where E is normal in G and E<=Fi(G). We present these groups in terms of generators and relations.
