Sažetak
The text analyses some aspects of the relationaship between the State and the Catholic Church in Croatia, which is regualted by four Agreements the Republic of Croatia signed with thw Holy See. The survey was made on the representative sample of 2000 respondents from all parts of Croatia regarding some new aspects of the Catholic Church acting in a pluralistic society, relationship between the Church and the State, the Church and politics: the denationalistion of church property, financing of the Catholic Church, church taxes, payments of income taxes by religious communities, cathecism in schools and pre-school institutions, elements of clericalisation in the Croatian society, building on religious facilities, criticism of the Catholic church and its rapport with the previous and the present state authorities. Conducted after the period of religious and national unanimity during the threat of war, the war and early post-war period, the survey demonstrated that the oppinions started to differ - besides the category of respondents that fully support the Church, a considarble category of those showing criticism of and disagreement with some aspects of the Catholic Church's activities in the Croatian society has emerged.
