Sažetak
The objective of this paper is to initiate a discussion among petroleum engineering experts about considerable confusion in usage of terms IOR (Improved Oil Recovery) and EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery). In order to find the middle ground of definition, a novel term: AHR (acronym – representing Advanced Hydrocarbons Recovery) for covering the broad scope of new and already present improving as well as enhancing methods and techniques of hydrocarbon recovery strategy, is proposed.
