Sažetak
The paper examines the influence of temperature and heat treatment time 'as well as alloy elements on corrosion resistance of the austenitic stainless steel. The ex/stance of the presupposed mechanism of the corrosion process has been proved, as well- as the vital interdependence of the change of structure with the decrease of corrosion resistance of the austenitic steel ASTM A 240, type 321.
