Sažetak
All around the world there is a tendency of more application of mechanization in vineyards, so based on it, some training systems are tried to accomodate. To suit that trend, the trial was carried out in the plantage of Institut for agricolture and tourism in Pore~. The plantage was planted in the period from 1992.-1995. The traial was carried out with the aim to test the possibility of application of different training systems in Istria and their influence to quality and quantity of grapes. In the papers are exposed the first results on grape quality and quantity in 1997. on the cultivators Chardonnay R8 and Cabernet Sauvignon R5, on four training systems, spur pruned cordon-low, spur pruned cordon high, simple Guyot and simple curtain. One-year results show the possibility of application of training systems in Istria what depends on quality and quantity we wish to achive.
